A couple of years ago I was asked to spend a week as ‘artist in residence’ at the Nature in Art Museum, in the UK. Some colourful Leopard Geckos were the obvious choice, as subjects to paint, during my stay. With their attractive colours and quiet disposition they were the perfect first reptile encounter for many of the visiting public and parties of school children.
